An Ninh Tay is a coastal plain commune located in the northeast of Tuy An district, 7km from the district center. Its administrative boundary borders An Ninh Dong commune to the east, An Thach and An Dan communes to the west, Xuan Dai ward - Song Cau town to the north, and An Thach commune to the south. 

      An Ninh Tay commune has a favorable location adjacent to the sea and a relatively complete transportation system, creating favorable conditions for the circulation of goods with other communes and within the district.
